3 days 2 nights with TSUYOSHI in Hong Kong
by Totoro

Though we've mentioned thousand times that we hope Tsuyoshi or SMAP will visit Hong Kong, we have never thought that our dream can come true!

As a result, about few weeks ago, when I heard the news that there will be a Food Fight Special, and most important, the storyboard will base in Hong Kong, I just can't believe that!

Then, I even read from "TV Guide" that they confirmed the crew will come to Hong Kong for shooting Food Fight Special in early March, and the actors and actresses will come too, I was excited.

We, the Kusanagi Family, started discussing what we will do when Tsuyoshi is in Hong Kong. We even wonder if we should take days off from work if the shooting is in weekdays.

2 March 2001

There was a piece of news on one of the local newspaper that Tsuyoshi will come to Hong Kong on 5 March 2001. We don't know if it is true or not, but already decided that we will go to the airport. Then, we got another news that Tsuyoshi will come on 2 March 2001 from the web. So we discussed if which piece of news we should "try"? Sure we choose 2 March 2001, cause if we give up, and if the 5 March news is not correct, then…

We went to the Hong Kong International Airport after dinner. We looked at the "arrival information", oh no! There are many flights from Tokyo that would arrive at Hong Kong in the night; the latest was the one at 11:00 p.m. Since the next day is a Saturday, we can stay later in the night. We decided to wait… (And prayed that the news was true).

Time passed and flights arrived, nothing special. And even no reporters or photographers… we started worrying….

Then, when the last flight arrived, we found some "suspects", the photographers, haha! Actually, they are our "yardstick" as we can be sure that "something will happen", we should thank them. Frankly speaking, the photographers are nice. I remembered one of them even told us that we could take photos, but we should not crowd at Tsuyoshi and let him walk.

Few minutes later, the photographers went closer to the gate, so did us. And we saw him, our star, Tsuyoshi! We shouted "Tsuyoshi, Tsuyoshi!" He was carrying a bag with him and walked in a leisure way. Haha!

He wore a pair of glasses, black leather jacket, inside was a brown long-sleeve T-shirt, his beloved jeans and black boots (should be the one he'd mentioned that the boots were comfortable).

When he came out from the gate, he smiled and waived his hand at us! We sure shouted even loudly! His manager got his bag. He walked out with quick steps. So did the crowd. Tsuyoshi crowed with the staff, reporters and photographers, and us, walked out of the airport to the nearby car park.

As far as I remembered, it seemed that we walked for a long distance. Even Tsuyoshi said, "the road is quite long." One of the photographers asked him to take off his glasses. At once he did so. Sure we screamed at once. So kakkoii.

Eventually we went to the car park. Tsuyoshi went into a coach, while the staff was loading the luggage to another coach. We started waiving hands at him and said "Bye-bye.". We saw him laugh in the coach.

One of the staff tried to close the curtain of the window in the coach and prevented us from looking at Tsuyoshi. However, without a second, Tsuyoshi opened the curtain again by himself! Actually we were surprised! Maybe Tsuyoshi found interesting in looking at his crazy fans in Hong Kong. Hope we had never frightens him.

Few minutes later, the coach was about to start. We said, "OyaSUMA night-do" to Tsuyoshi. Haha! The coach drove away and we noted that Tsuyoshi looked at us at the back of the coach. I really think that he is interested in looking at what we will do next. Heehee….

As it was already very late in the night. We decided to go home. But still, we were too excited and talked loudly in the bus. We should apologize to other passengers in the bus who were disturbed by us. Sorry.

My first impression on Tsuyoshi

Though this is not the first time I met Tsuyoshi, previously he was working, e.g., in the play, in the concerts. He wore make-up when working. Besides, I have never met Tsuyoshi "face to face".

However, when we greeted him at the airport, I got a chance to take a close look at him, especially he did not wear any make-up at all. Honestly speaking, Tsuyoshi looks at least 10 times more handsome when he does not wear any make-up. With his 100% smile, as a Tsuyoshi fan, you may die immediately. Haha!

Besides, Tsuyoshi looks more handsome than when he was on magazines or TV. He sure is not a Mr. Photogenic. As a result, that's why everyone who'd met the "real" Tsuyoshi always says, "Tsuyoshi is handsome." Kekekekekeke…

I always say that Tsuyoshi is too thin. However, he does not look as thin as in the magazines or on TV, so strange. And most important and most happy, Tsuyoshi looked very "genki".

Tsuyoshi must be very happy when he saw some fans greeting him at the airport. He wore a smile all the way through. This is the loveliest Tsuyoshi I have ever seen. I won't forget his smile.

As mentioned by others, Tsuyoshi is exact the one we saw on TV, the nice and handsome guy. He is very polite.

A little "Thank you" for the first day

We must thanks Mr. Translator and the staff who accompanied Tsuyoshi from the gate to the car park. They were very nice and always reminded us to take care, don't run too fast and mind our steps. All they did was keeping a way for Tsuyoshi to walk.

We arrived at home and talked till 5:00 a.m. Then I decided to go to bed as two hours later, I have to go to work in the morning… However, when I lay down on bed and close my eyes, Tsuyoshi was everywhere! Haha! Am I crazy enough?!

To be continued…)

Thanks all of you to bear with me with my broken English and so "long-winded".
But I cannot keep my mouth shut when talking about Tsuyoshi, kekekekekeke....
Gome ne!  ^^
