In 2041, Shingo, as a reporter, went to have an interview with a famous star, Hikaruko.  Hikaruko greeted him in the sitting room.  After taking some photos, Shingo noted that Hikaruko got the best assistant actress in the past.  So he asked, "why don't you continue to act after getting this award and this movie?"  "It's a long story, let me tell you, please sit down."  So the story went back to 2001......

After the broke up, Sosuke worked hard and even went to the street to deliver the pamphlets to promote his company.

Hikaruko started participating in the new drama "the fortune chair" directed by Leo-san.  However, she could not perform what Leo-san wanted in one shot.  Leo-san told her, "please treat that is yourself."  But Hikaruko still could not make it.

Hikaruko met the parents of the doctor for their marriage.  The mother of the doctor asked Hikaruko, "there is a rumors that you felt in love with a salary man.  Are you still..."  "No, no.  I broke up with him.  Now I would like to marry the doctor."  The parents were happy.

On the other hand, even in Hikaruko's office, her boss, the manager, even the assistants, all thought that Hikaruko still loves Sosuke and should not marry to the doctor, so they thought of a way....  The manager made an order at the ham shop and asked them to prepare sandwich for Hikaruko at the studio.  The boss and the colleagues of the ham shop also wanted Sosuke to be good.  So they asked Sosuke to prepare the ham sandwich and together took the sandwich to the studio.

In the studio, Hikaruko still could not do well for that sense.  But then, she found Sosuke in front of her, so she said out the lines and expressed her feeling well.  Leo-san was satisfactory with the act.  The others were very touched.

During the rest, Hikaruko asked Sosuke if it was himself who initially took the sandwich for her.  But Sosuke told her that they got the order from the manager of Hikaruko.  "So you come to see me only because you get the order?"  "Yes."  Hikaruko was angry and went away.  The doctor was there and saw everything.

The next day, the doctor went to see Sosuke and asked what did he think of Hikaruko.  Sosuke asked him not to worry and wish them a happy live in the future.

The manager of Hikaruko asked her to think seriously if she really would like to marry the doctor.  Then he went to see Sosuke in the night.  He told Sosuke that he also liked Hikaruko, but then he treated Hikaruko as his sister and really would like her to be happy.  He said that the wedding would be held tomorrow and asked Sosuke to think all over again.  It was a sleepless night for both Hikaruko and Sosuke.....

The next day, the colleagues of the ham shop went to the wedding ceremony (they were invited by the manager of Hikaruko).  Sosuke also went there and sat at the last row of the chapel.  The wedding started and Hikaruko went in, she was beautiful and Sosuke was very sad.....

The bishop who held the wedding ceremony then asked, "who would like to object before the oval is said?"  Ann-chan stood up and said, "I object."  All were amazed!  Her manager asked her to sit down.  But Ann-chan stood up again and said, "I object.  Hikaruko loves another man, but why she has to marry this man."  Then the colleagues of the ham shop, Tsugomi, the boss of Hikaruko, the assistants, and even the manager of Hikaruko stood up and said, "I object."  All were surprised.  At that moment, Sosuke went out from the last row and said, "Hikaruko, I love you and let's get married."

The father of the doctor went out and came up to the boss and asked, "what do you mean by this?"  Then someone at the back (maybe the colleagues of the ham shop) started a fight, all went into a mess.  During the fight, Sosuke was pushed by someone and the piggy key holder he held was dropped, kicked by someone, and eventually went to the front of Hikaruko.  Hikaruko took it up.

After the guests left, Hikaruko apologized to the doctor.  But the doctor said that he already known that Sosuke and Hikaruko were in love.

Sosuke walked along the street and went back to the office, while his colleagues were smiling at him.  Sosuke thanked them and said, "eventually I say so.  Thanks for encouraging me.  So go to have a drink?"  "No, no, I have to date with him."  Tsugomi said.  "We have a meeting."  The boss and other colleagues, all ran out the office at once.  Sosuke found strange..... Then he found Hikaruko sat on the chair waiting for him, but she felt asleep again.  She woke up, facing Sosuke, and said, "could you please say once more what you've said in the chapel?"  "I love you and let's get married."  "Please come close to me."  Hikaruko asked.  "Closer..." and they kissed.

So here came Sosuke and Hikaruko's wedding.  The bishop asked the doctor, "will you object?"  "No."  Haha.

Back to 2041, "It is a happy ending."  Hikaruko told Shingo.  "Yes, and very touching."  Shingo said.  "Ah, let me introduce you my husband, Sosuke..."  Sosuke went out.  Shingo was happy to know this story and after he went back to the office, he decided to write the story out.
 
 

This is the first time Totoro try to write down the story.  However, my Japanese is still weak.  Please forgive me if there is any mis-interpretation.  Besides, I only write down bits of the story, not a detailed one.  Sorry.
