Tetsuro thanked
the lawyer for showing him his father's letter,
he told the lawyer
that his father started changing too.
Tetsuro's father
helped in looking after Rin, cooked for Rin,
and did not wear
suit and tie anymore, he became a friendly grandpa.
Tetsuro was pleased
to see his father's change.
The discussion in
the court continued.
Kanako's mother
was invited to give evidence that Tetsuro could not take good care of Rin.
Tetsuro still emphasis
that he changed and became a good father.
Kanako's mother
then took Rin to the restaurant after school.
She asked Rin what
kind of man she like. "Like father."
"Your father is
good?" "Yes, he cooks for me, making juice, and works hard."
Kanako's mother
was surprised to learn that, she went to the restaurant and
saw that Tetsuro
really worked hard, she was touched.
Yura told Tetsuro
that actually Rin would like to spend a day with father and mother,
just a day will
do. Yura encouraged Tetsuro to complete Rin's little desire.
So Tetsuro, Rin
and Kanako, went to the amusement park and spent a day happily there.
Kanako was a bit
uncomfortable when she noted that Rin went close with Tetsuro.
However, she still
had the most powerful evidence to support herself to get back Rin.
Back home, Tetsuro
helped Rin in drying her hair.
"Thanks for today,
I am happy." Rin told her father.
"Me too."
"I will never ask
again if the 3 of us can live together again." Rin said.
Tetsuro was so
shocked to hear this and all he could do is hold Rin in his arms.
The next day the
lawyer called Tetsuro, he showed Tetsuro the copies of "Rin's diary" prepared
by Kanako.
She did such a
diary from the day Rin was born.
Tetsuro was shocked
that he did not know the existence of such a diary at all.
He blamed himself
a lot that he really missed the past 7 years when Rin grew up,
and he knew that
he was going to loose Rin.....
Kanako's mother
attended the court again.
"Based on all these
bad experiences Tetsuro gave to Rin,
can we conclude
that Tetsuro is not suitable to be a father to look after Rin?" The
lawyer asked.
"Though he really
did those things,
but he is a good
father right now. What he is doing now is all good for Rin."
Kanako's mother
told the judge.
Kanako was sad
because her mother did not help her in this very last moment.
"But I think Rin
is ok to live with you, or live with Tetsuro."
The next day, the
chef in the restaurant started teaching Tetsuro more about cooking.
Tetsuro got the
call from the lawyer, "the result is out."
Tetsuro went back
home.....
Kanako was waiting
for him. "I am going to take Rin away right now.
I have already
packed some stuff, for the rest, please pack and send to me later."
"Why so fast? Why
can't wait for a while?
When the new school
is found?"
"No, I must go
at once. I have already told Rin. Thanks for taking care of
her for these months.
I will take good
care of her as I am her mother."
Kanako took Rin
out from her room, "Rin, say goodbye to your father."
"Sayonara, father...."
Both Rin and Tetsuro's
eyes were filled with tears......
Tetsuro did nothing,
and let Rin left him.....
Yura went to their
home and found Tetsuro in Rin's room,
while all her stuff
was gone.....
she comforted him
with her hands.....
