Koyanagi Tetsuro
works at a bank.
He bought a flat
for his wife and daughter, now 7 years old and studying grade 1.
He works hard to
provide a warm family for his wife and daughter,
took them to Hawaii
for vacation, he though he provides the best to them.
However, one morning,
his wife told him that she would like to divorce.
Tetsuro had to
hurry to work for a meeting, so he said, "talk after work."
But his wife left
when he was home.
The next morning,
he told his daughter, Rin, that "mother is having a trip and will be back
soon".
He asked Rin to
go back home by herself.
That night Tetsuro
met the new English tutor at home.
But he did not
want her to learn that his wife was left.
Tetsuro's wife did
not answer any call by him. Eventually he found her.
"Do you still don't
know why I want the divorce?" she asked.
Seems that he did
not know at all.....
Tetsuro knew nothing
about his daughter, cause his wife was responsible for this.
He even did not
familiar with his home, e.g. where does the cup put, as his wife did all
for him.
Rin called Tetsuro
during the working hours,
however, he was
facing a problem at work and he found annoying,
he told her that
he was still working but he was in a pub.
Actually he was
reluctant to face his daughter, while the little girl was waiting for him
at home.
One morning Tetsuro
asked Rin if she would like to go to grandma's home,
Rin did not answer
but just cried. So Tetsuro dropped the idea.
The form master
of Rin called Tetsuro that Rin kept on forgetting to bring
homework or books
back to school. So Tetsuro tried to "look after" her.
However, he found
that he could hardly go along with his daughter.
One day Rin called
but Tetsuro did not take the call.
Rin was having
a stomach .....
The English tutor
took Rin to hospital.
Tetsuro went to
the hospital late in the night and deny that he had to work.
The teacher told
him that Rin knew that her mother left,
she was afraid
to be alone at home, and she was so afraid that Tetsuro also left her,
so she tried her
best to please her father, who did not notice at all.
Tetsuro went to
see Rin and would like to apologize to her.
He agreed to listen
to want Rin say.
"I would like to
go to grandma's home. Sorry that I make all the trouble."
Tetsuro was speechless............
